Storion develops, builds and operates grid-scale battery storage in Sweden. We take a long view, working alongside landowners, grid operators and developers — and investing on our own account through Gridstone.

We deliver your storage project end to end — design, procurement, installation, commissioning and handover. One contract, one supplier, one point of technical accountability.
We develop and commercialise sites and grid connections for storage. We buy pre-RTB projects, partner with other developers and deliver ready-to-build sites, with the capital and commitment to carry projects through the full development cycle.
§ 03 / Approach
Sweden is adding storage fast, and that is good for the grid — but only where it is built by people taking a long view. We are not here to chase this year's ancillary revenues. We are here to help build a robust, renewable and balanced Swedish grid, locally and nationally.
Ancillary markets will change. What we build has to earn its place in the grid long after today's revenue stacks are history.
A site that has not been thought through against the local and regional network is a risk to everyone. We open that conversation with the first sketch — for flexibility, local capacity markets and grid support where it genuinely helps.
As contractor and as owner, we remain accountable — through procurement, operations and asset management.

§ 05 / Gridstone
Gridstone is Storion's investment platform for building and owning storage sites on our own account, alongside external investors.
We come in as operating partner and majority owner. Co-investors get exposure to one of Sweden's fastest-growing infrastructure segments without standing up a development team of their own, and Storion runs the project end to end — from grid connection and permitting through commissioning and daily operations.

§ 06 / About
Storion is a Swedish company that develops, builds and operates grid-scale energy storage. We were founded in 2022 as Energibruket and have grown into one of Sweden's most active storage developers and contractors; the new name comes with a wider investment in the company and our move into markets beyond Sweden.
We hold assets for the long term through Gridstone, alongside partner projects developed with landowners and grid operators. Storage is the whole business — not one line in a broader portfolio.
Storion is founded, owned and run by a team with long careers in real estate, renewable energy and the energy transition. We are based in Stockholm and work on projects across Sweden.
